Donato Dozzy announces new album, ‘Magda’

Donato Dozzy has a new album on the way.

Titled ‘Magda’, the six-track record pays tribute to the Adriatic Sea, as well as his family – specifically his aunt, who a press release describes as “one of the strongest women in Donato’s life and a real life teacher”.

The new album will mark Dozzy’s first full-length release since 2019’s ’12H’, which was recorded as part of an installation to soundtrack a bridge in Rome. He’s since released EPs for labels such as Tresor, Samurai Music and his own vinyl-only Afterhouse imprint.

‘Magda’ will be released by Spazio Disponibile, the label that Dozzy runs with fellow Italian artist Neel, on 19th January. You can listen to lead cut ‘Lucrezia’ below.

In 2019, DJ Mag premiered Dozzy’s track ‘Cavallina Matta’, which was released through Adiel’s Danza Tribale label.
