Eliza Rose and Calvin Harris share video for ‘Body Moving’: Watch

Calvin Harris and Eliza Rose have shared a video for their first-time collaborative single, ‘Body Moving’.

Adopting a Hollywood glamour vibe, the visual features both artists. Speaking about it, director Jeanie Crystal said in a statement: “Eliza’s sultry jazz vocals alongside Calvin’s opulent production immediately transported me to a world of vintage glamour. Smokey dressing rooms, red lit stages, over painted faces and old Hollywood extravaganza were the visions I Instantly got when hearing ‘Body Moving’.

“It’s always a treat working with Eliza on set because she brings such a freeing creative vibe. She’s a true artist in all its meanings.”

‘Body Moving’ emerged after Harris and Rose first connected in 2022 during a DM exchange on social media after the release of Rose’s No.1 single with Interplanetary Criminal, ‘B.O.T.A (Baddest Of Them All)’. The pair resolved to get into the studio together to make some music. After Rose joined Harris at a show at Ushuaïa Ibiza last summer, they agreed to finish the collaboration and release it.

“My goal was to create a track that captures the essence of summer while also igniting the dance floors,” Rose said. “The vibe with Calvin has been fabulous. He couldn’t be more down-to-earth. It’s been an honour to work with one of the best producers in the world!

“It’s something I never thought would be possible. We have created something that I believe has really combined our two identities into something unique and also reflective of our own personal work.”

The new cut follows on from Rose’s recent single ‘Take You There’, which was released in September and Harris trance-influenced collaboration with Ellie Goulding, ‘Miracle’.

Harris, meanwhile, recently placed 12th in our Top 100 DJs poll for 2023.
