Gorillaz tease new track with The Cure’s Robert Smith

News

Gorillaz have teased a new track featuring The Cure’s Robert Smith.

The Damon Albarn-fronted digital band first announced their latest project, Song Machine, earlier this year. They shared the first instalment, ‘Momentary Bliss’, featuring Northampton-born rapper slowthai and Slaves in February, and another track with Malian musician, Fatoumata Diawara, shortly after.

After French-British artist Octavian joined the virtual band members for Song Machine in June, and ScHoolboy Q the following month, Gorillaz have teased their next installment, featuring legendary The Cure frontman, Robert Smith.

Posting the teaser image yesterday via Twitter, Gorillaz confirmed their next collaborator would be Smith, and once again advised fans to find their nearest Song Machine.
