Alison Wonderland releases new single and video, 'Down The Line': Watch

Alison Wonderland has shared a new track, ‘Down The Line’, as well as an accompanying video.

Originally exclusive to the vinyl edition of her album ‘Loner’, which was released in May of this year, the track opens with the artist’s vocals and an acoustic guitar before soaring to a more anthemic climax.

The video, which you can watch below, follows a trio of motivational speakers – part of a fictional movement led by Alison Wonderland – as they try to inspire a downbeat and unenthusiastic crowd.

Speaking about the track and video, the DJ and producer said:”We need the dark times in order to get to the light. We need that experience to know that it’s going to be okay one day.

“The track is me acknowledging that I was alone during a difficult time but knew that I was going to get through it and be okay, down the line. We’re all going through a dark time right now, and sometimes we need to be reminded that it’s going to be okay. No matter what happens, we will be okay.”

The unveiling of ‘Down The Line’ follows on from the announcement in September of a graphic novel inspired by ‘Loner’.
