Leftfield share new single, ‘Accumulator’, announce UK tour: Listen

Leftfield have shared a new single, ‘Accumulator’, accompanied by the announcement of an “intimate” UK tour.

‘Accumulator’ is “underpinned by a feeling of communal belonging on the dancefloor and is emblematic of the open-hearted nature of ‘This Is What We Do’,” the forthcoming new album; Leftfield’s first studio album since 2015’s ‘Alternative Light Source’. The previously released first single, ‘Pulse,’ was released in July. Check out ‘Accumulator’ below.

Leftfield will head out on the road on 7th December, taking in dates in London, Bristol, Glasgow, and Manchester. Tickets are currently on sale from the Leftfield site.

‘This Is What We Do’ is described as an “eclectic long-player that embodies the core optimistic ethos” of Leftfield, which is now led solely by co-founding member Neil Barnes.

Taking in 11 tracks and produced with long-time studio and mix engineer Adam Wren, the LP was produced in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and Barnes’ recovery from a personal health crisis, and features an album cover shot by lauded photographer Steve McCurry.
