Sully, Nikki Nair and Fracture release 65 breakbeat sample pack in aid of homelessness charity

Sully, Nikki Nair and Fracture have teamed up to release a sample pack comprising 65 breakbeats in aid of UK homelessness charity Shelter.

The release is available now via Astrophonica – the label set up by drum & bass duo Fracture & Neptune in 2009 – and was created in collaboration with Spitfire Audio’s free LABS software instruments, specifically the LABS Drums instrument. Check it out below.

Last year DJ Mag chatted to Nikki Nair for the Recognise series. Read the interview and check out Nair’s mix of all original tracks, comprising sizzling electro, crunching breakbreats, frenzied footwork and much more here. Nair recent won in breakthrough producer category at DJ Mag’s Best of North America Awards 2022.

Dive into Sully’s On Cue mix, which explores the infinite potential of the breakbeat, and read about how he got into jungle, and the influence of dubstep, post-rock and The Cure on his meticulous sound.

Check out DJ Mag’s 2019 feature with Astrophonica co-founder Fracture, who gives us the lowdown on the label’s past, present, and future, alongside a mix of tracks from its catalogue.
