New London club, The Beams, announces October launch parties

New East London venue The Beams has confirmed its opening month of events.

Opening on 1st October with a party featuring Michael Bibi and other yet to be announced guests, the venue’s launch month will take in five club events.

On 8th October, Patrick Topping and Denis Sulta will play b2b all day long, while the following weekend, on 15th October, Honey Dijon brings her Radiance club concept to the venue with special guests Dan Shake, Mr. G, Eliza Rose, Kush Jones and a PXSSY PALACE showcase.

On 22nd October, The Beams will curate the line-up in-house with Stephan Bodzin and Kölsch among the guests. The month comes to a wrap on 29th October with FAC 51 The Haçienda taking over. Cybotron, The Orb and 808 State are all set to play live at that event, while there will be DJ sets from Marshall Jefferson, DJ Pierre and DJ Paulette, among others.

The Beams is a new joint venture between LWE and Broadwick Live, the team behind London’s Printworks and the now-closed The Drumsheds. News of the 55,000-sq-ft venue’s opening was initially confirmed last month.

Find out more about the new venue, and find full details of what is to come from its opening month, via The Beams’ website. Further details about events beyond October will be announced in the coming months.

Another of Broadwick Live’s venues, Printworks, is hosting an orchestral event for the BBC’s 2022 Proms this summer.
