Daft Punk share remastered ‘Revolution 909’ music video: Watch

Daft Punk have shared a remastered version of their ‘Revolution 909’ music video. Check it below. 

Over a year on from calling it a day after 28 years, the iconic French electronic duo – comprising Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo – have unveiled a remastered version of the video for the ‘Homework’ single. 

The fifth and final single from their acclaimed 1997 debut LP, the instrumental’s video was directed by Roman Coppola. Watch its remastered version, as well as a brand ‘Making Of’ video for Coppola’s accompaniment, below. 

Back in April, Daft Punk launched a mysterious website emblazoned with the words “archives loading”. Since then, the pair have shared a series of archival material in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their debut, including remastered videos for singles ‘Around The World’ and ‘Burnin”.

Back in 2019, it was revealed that Daft Punk’s fourth and final studio album ‘Random Access Memories’ was the best-selling dance music album on vinyl of the decade. Paying tribute to late 1970s and early 1980s American music, the 2013 release won several categories at the 56th Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronica Album.
