You can now watch Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and Raekwon’s VERZUZ battle online.
In February, following a performance from D’Angelo, VERZUZ hosts Swizz Beatz and Timbaland announced that the next rap battle would be between two of Wu-Tang Clan’s original members: Ghostface Killah and Raekwon.
The showdown, which is available to watch back now via Instagram, took place over the weekend, and featured cameos from RZA and Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, Young Dirty Bastard, and also saw Raekwon share an unreleased Griselda collaboration.
The battle also included a number of tracks from Wu-Tang Clan’s back catalogue, with Ghostface taking on ‘Impossible’ and Raekwon performing ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ alongside Inspectah Deck.
Following Saturday night’s stream, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland revealed that fellow Wu-Tang member Method Man and Def Jam’s Redman will face off in a 4/20 special edition of VERZUZ next month.
