Hollywood, CA – Prior to releasing his single “Rowdy,” Yelawolf checked in with his brother, Eminem, to get his input.

In September 2018, Machine Gun Kelly dropped his dissed track, “Rap Devil,” which was aimed at the Missouri native. Following the release the diss record, the 39-year-old contemplated whether or not he should release his MGK-assisted single.

“Truth to be told, I called Marshall and I was like, ‘I got a record with homie MGK] and I really, really like it. DJ Paul produced it.’ Eminiem] was like, ‘Man, fuck it, dude. Run it. People need to hear that. People want to hear that,'” Yelawolf explained during a conversation with HipHopDX.

The Trunk Muzik artist revealed that Eminem has always been a supporter his career.

“Marshall has always been selfless with me and what I do, always. I can say that. He’s always been a champion for me… If it works for me, he’s behind it.”
