Some nights you know are going to be special before they even begin. The lineup’s perfect, the venue’s iconic, the energy’s already building weeks in advance. That’s exactly where we find ourselves with our upcoming show featuring Clive Henry, Siggy Smalls, and Ben Cain at Sushisamba on 26th September.
We’re partnering with Evermix to make sure this evening gets the recording it deserves. Not just any recording, but something that captures the magic properly. Because honestly, when you’ve got artists of this calibre performing 38 floors above London, you need technology that can match the moment.
The Technology Behind the Event
Evermix delivers studio quality audio to your recordings & live streams, and that’s exactly what a night like this deserves. Their compact audio interface technology means we’ll be capturing every nuance of the evening, from Clive Henry’s deep dive into house classics to those intimate moments between tracks when the crowd holds its breath.
The EvermixBox5 captures crystal clear, studio grade audio designed by a top audio engineer with credits including Pink Floyd, Eurythmics, and the Chemical Brothers. When you’re dealing with artists of Clive Henry’s stature, you need technology that can match the artistry.

They understand that a great set isn’t just about what happens in the booth. It’s about capturing the entire atmosphere, the energy, the moment when everything aligns perfectly. Evermix runs off your phone’s power, so there’s no charging or battery anxiety. Just plug in and go, no matter how long the night runs. Perfect for an evening that we suspect might stretch well into the early hours.
The Partnerships That Make It Perfect
You know how some collaborations just feel right from the start? That’s exactly what happened when we connected with Evermix and Frangipani Clothing. We’ve never been just about the music at Decoded. Sure, we love a good track, but we’re equally interested in where you’re drinking your wine, what you’re wearing while you’re doing it, and who you’re sharing the experience with. Both our partners get this completely.
Frangipani Clothing resonates with our community of music and lifestyle enthusiasts, understanding that what you wear is part of the story you’re telling. Like us, they know that the best nights out are when everything comes together perfectly – the music, the setting, and yes, looking the part while you’re doing it.
In an age of endless content, we believe in quality over quantity. This isn’t about creating another social media moment. It’s about properly documenting an evening that deserves to be remembered. With studio quality sound (no clipping, no distortion), we’ll be creating something you can listen back to in years to come and remember exactly why you fell in love with this music in the first place.
“At Evermix, we’ve always enjoyed collaborating with Decoded because we share the same passion for forward-thinking music culture and uncompromising audio quality. This partnership at SUSHISAMBA is a perfect opportunity to support the artists pushing boundaries and to showcase what our new EvermixBox5 can do. We’re really looking forward to capturing every set in ultra-high quality and giving both performers and fans a way to relive the night at its very best.” – Macky Drese – Owner Evermix
The partnership between Decoded Magazine, Evermix, and Frangipani Clothing represents everything we’re about: attention to detail, respect for the artistry, and an understanding that some nights are worth preserving properly. From the technology that captures the sound to the style that completes the look, every element matters.
The Venue That Started It All
Sushisamba needs little introduction. Since opening its doors atop Heron Tower, this 38th floor destination has redefined London’s dining and nightlife landscape. Winner of multiple industry accolades and consistently praised by TimeOut as “one of London’s most spectacular dining experiences”, it’s the perfect backdrop for what we’re planning.
The venue’s unique Nikkei concept creates an atmosphere that’s both globally inspired and distinctly London, much like the music we’ll be hearing on the night.

The Lineup That Demanded Professional Recording
Clive Henry The man doesn’t just play records, he tells stories. As one of the UK’s longest standing champions of underground house music, an original member of the West London house mafia, one half of Peace Division, and a resident at DC10, his exclusive house classics set isn’t something that happens every day.
Ben Cain A selector’s selector with deep roots in London’s sprawling underground. For over 20 years, he’s been the quiet force shaping the city’s electronic music scene from the shadows.
Siggy Smalls (La Discothèque) A two time Glastonbury performer who’s taken her unique blend of disco, nu disco, and vocal house from London’s underground to stages across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
The Evening Itself
This is what we do well at Decoded: finding the sweet spot between having a proper night out and not feeling like you need to explain yourself to anyone the next morning. From 9pm, we’re creating an evening that understands the difference between a party and an experience.
Start with dinner if you fancy – Sushisamba’s food genuinely is amazing, and there’s something perfect about beginning the night with good conversation and better sake. Then, when the music starts and the lights dim, you’re already here, already settled, already part of the story. That’s how the best nights happen, they evolve rather than begin.
Save the Date: Decoded Returns to Sushisamba for Halloween
