Ephwurd And Insomniac Teamed Up For A Successful LA Takeover

On December 15, 2017, Datsik and Bais Haus, collectively known as Ephwurd, took over the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles for a night full raging tunes and fun. The duo is topping f a monumental year full major festival appearances and shows.

Ephwurd brought along rising artists Luca Lush, Whipped Cream, and JVMPKICKS to open the show. JVMPKICKS got the crowd moving and shuffling from the get-go with a bumping bass house set. Whipped Cream went hard playing a mix trap, dubstep, and house. And course, the famously blue-haired Luca Lush threw down a fun set as always.

Ephwurd really sealed the deal on a fantastic night, though. Their high-energy set included tons great music alongside some amazing visuals. Their track selection was phenomenal, featuring a lot the crazy house music they’re known for, but also some heavier tracks and even future bass. They clearly put a lot thought and craft into their live sets and have a lot fun with it. And the crowd was loving it.

Since their inception in 2015, Ephwurd has been going non-stop and we’re excited to see what 2018 has in store for them. Surely they’ll be adorning festival lineups throughout the year so keep your eyes peeled if they’re coming near you. You’ll surely have a great time.

has tapped the Manchester musician-producer JF July for “Coming Back To You,” a new single from his forthcoming album,  Little By Little.

“Coming Back To You” is the latest endeavor on Daniel Goldstein’s sonically-evocative, upcoming aural odyssey. The track’s an archetypal presentation Lane 8’s stylistic decorum and a pleasing marriage electronica and deep house. It employs a galvanizing melody and texturized vocal sampling. “Coming Back To You” follows “Atlas” and “No Captain” and hints that Goldstein’s album will be his most expanse aural journey to date.

Lane 8’s sophomore album, Little By Little, is out January 19, on his own imprint, This Never Happened.
