Wilco Announce First-Ever Marrakech Residency with Three Unique Sets

Wilco have officially announced a landmark series of live performances in Marrakech, marking the band’s first-ever shows on the African continent. The residency, held in partnership with Pilgrimage of Sound, is scheduled to take place from March 25 to 27, 2026.

Following a similar format to their acclaimed 2023 residency at Reykjavík’s Eldborg Hall at Harpa, Jeff Tweedy and his bandmates will perform three entirely unique shows over three consecutive nights. The band has confirmed that no songs will be repeated throughout the weekend, offering fans a rare and curated experience.

The event is structured as a comprehensive travel package. Attendees will be provided with four or five nights of luxury accommodation, airport transfers, daily venue shuttles, and exclusive merchandise. Guests can choose from a variety of lodging options, ranging from traditional high-end Riads within the historic 1,000-year-old Medina to modern hotels located in the city center.

Beyond the evening performances, the itinerary encourages exploration. Ticketholders have the option to participate in a series of curated excursions, including guided hikes through the Atlas Mountains and sunrise hot air balloon rides. For those looking to extend their stay, multi-day tours ranging from three to 16 days are available to help guests further explore Morocco.

Pre-sale registration for the Marrakech residency is currently open, with pre-sale options beginning Wednesday, June 10. General ticket sales will commence on Friday, June 12, at 6pm BST.

The band, whose most recent studio album is 2023’s Cousin, followed by the Hot Sun Cool Shroud EP, will also be embarking on a 2026 tour across the UK and Europe later this summer. This includes a highly anticipated performance at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in August.
