Stella McCartney Launches Limited Edition ‘The Boys of Dungeon Lane’ T-Shirt
Stella McCartney has released an exclusive, limited edition t-shirt, crafted in celebration of Paul McCartney’s new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane. The record, which arrived on May 29, marks the music legend’s first studio project since 2020’s McCartney III.
Throughout the 14-track collection, McCartney offers an intimate look at his formative years in Liverpool. The album explores the resilience of his parents and his early creative adventures alongside George Harrison and John Lennon, long before they achieved global fame as The Beatles. The project also features a historic collaboration with Ringo Starr on the track ‘Home To Us’, which also includes contributions from Sharleen Spiteri of Texas and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
A Personal Design Tribute
Renowned fashion designer Stella McCartney has drawn inspiration from the album’s cover art for this special release. The unisex t-shirt features the Dungeon Lane street sign at its center, adorned with two blue tits—a design motif that also appears in her Summer of Love 2026 collection. These birds serve as a poignant nod to the memories her father recounts in the album, specifically his childhood afternoons spent birdwatching by the River Mersey.

The t-shirt is available exclusively to UK customers who purchase the new album. The window for this limited release is brief, running from today, Tuesday, June 2, until midnight on Wednesday, June 3.
Reflecting on a Legendary Career
In a recent interview with NME, Paul McCartney discussed his enduring passion for songwriting. Reflecting on his 83 years, he noted that the creative satisfaction of crafting a song remains as potent as it was during his school days. “There’s something magical about it,” he shared. “The satisfaction is just being able to write a song and, if you pull it off, that’s the same satisfaction that it always was.”
This collaboration continues a tradition of McCartney family synergy. In 2019, Stella McCartney released a collection inspired by the iconic film Yellow Submarine, which was famously worn by Billie Eilish during her performance at Glastonbury.
