Sacha Baron Cohen Jokes About His ‘Midlife Crisis’, Then Sparks Romance With Model Half His Age
Sacha Baron Cohen has been making headlines for more than his comedic antics.
The 53-year-old actor recently joked about a “midlife crisis” while unveiling a striking body transformation – weeks before being linked to a model half his age.
Back in July, Cohen showed off his impressive new physique in a Men’s Fitness UK cover shoot. The images featured him shirtless, lifting dumbbells, and giving the camera his best smoldering look. The transformation came as part of his training for his upcoming role as Marvel villain Mephisto in the Ironheart miniseries.
Sharing the cover on Instagram, Cohen laughed at himself, writing: “This is not AI, I really am egotistical enough to do this.” In another cheeky post, he quipped, “Some celebs use Ozempic, some use private chefs, others use personal trainers. I did all three.” He went on to declare that he was “hard launching [his] mid-life crisis,” before jokingly introducing a “new character: Middle aged man who replaced beer with protein shakes.”
Less than a month later, Cohen attended director Taika Waititi’s 50th birthday celebrations in Ibiza, where he was introduced to 27-year-old model Hannah Palmer, a friend of Waititi’s wife, Rita Ora. Cohen and Palmer were spotted sitting side by side, smiling during the party, which reportedly included a sit-down dinner followed by dancing.
According to The Sun, Palmer – who is also known for her work as an OnlyFans creator – was described as “super fun,” “clever,” and “beautiful,” with one source calling her “a real catch” and adding that Cohen was “a very lucky man” to have met her.
Romance rumors heated up this week after Cohen and Palmer were seen having dinner together. An eyewitness said the pair arrived around 8:30 p.m., spent two hours in “deep” conversation, and although they left separately, they “got into the same car” afterward.
Despite the speculation, a source close to Cohen downplayed the encounter, saying it was not a “date” and that the two have only met a couple of times through mutual friends. The insider added that Cohen has been giving Palmer advice on Hollywood and acting while “enjoying meeting new people” following his June divorce from actress Isla Fisher.
Meanwhile, Fisher, 49, has also been spotted moving on, with reports claiming she was recently seen with a new companion. The former couple, who share three children, announced their separation earlier this year after more than two decades together.
For now, whether Cohen’s playful “midlife crisis” is connected to his budding friendship with Palmer remains to be seen – but it’s clear he’s embracing change in more ways than one.
