Robbie Williams Named Official Front-of-Shirt Partner for Port Vale FC
Pop icon Robbie Williams has been named as the Foundation Ambassador and official front-of-shirt partner for Port Vale FC. The singer, a life-long supporter of the club, has signed a landmark two-year partnership that will see his ‘RW’ mark featured on the team’s home and away kits for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.
Beyond the branding, the collaboration aims to highlight the extensive charity work conducted by the Port Vale Foundation, which focuses on health, education, and community inclusion. Williams, who was raised near the club’s Vale Park stadium, expressed his deep personal connection to the team.
“It feels pretty incredible, to be honest. Robbie Williams on the front of a Port Vale shirt… It’s a match made in heaven, for me,” he said. “I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Railway Paddock at Vale Park raised me.”
The partnership arrives as the club launches its new ‘One Vale’ three-year strategy, designed to foster a greater sense of belonging within the local community. Williams is the first of several high-profile ambassadors to be announced for the Foundation.

Port Vale CEO Matt Hancock praised the authenticity of the deal, noting that it stems from a genuine, long-standing relationship between the artist and the club. “From the very first conversations, it was clear this was about Robbie’s life-long love for Port Vale and making a tangible difference to people’s lives,” Hancock stated.
This new venture follows a historic year for Williams, who recently broke The Beatles’ record for the most UK Number One albums with his latest release, BRITPOP. The album, which arrived in January, marked his 16th chart-topping solo record.
The new Port Vale kits featuring the ‘RW’ emblem will be available for purchase starting June 13, both at the club’s official store and online.
