Robbie Williams Named Official Front-of-Shirt Partner for Port Vale FC

Pop icon Robbie Williams has been named as the Foundation Ambassador and official front-of-shirt partner for Port Vale FC. The singer, a life-long supporter of the club, has signed a landmark two-year partnership that will see his ‘RW’ mark featured on the team’s home and away kits for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.

As part of the agreement, Williams will also work closely with the club to highlight the extensive charity work conducted by the Port Vale Foundation. Raised just a short distance from the club’s home at Vale Park, Williams has maintained a deep connection to the team for decades, famously performing a massive homecoming show at the stadium in 2022.

A Match Made in Heaven

“It feels pretty incredible, to be honest. Robbie Williams on the front of a Port Vale shirt… It’s a match made in heaven, for me,” Williams said. “I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Railway Paddock at Vale Park raised me.”

He added: “I’m back here and back involved because of [Chair and Co-Owner] Carol Shanahan and the family, and what they have created backstage. Being embraced again by the Port Vale family has been very important to me, and it feels wonderful.”

Supporting the Community

The Port Vale Foundation is dedicated to launching projects that support health, education, inclusion, and opportunity for residents across the city. The organization recently confirmed a new three-year strategy, ‘One Vale’, which aims to foster a greater sense of belonging within the community. Williams is the first of several official Foundation ambassadors to be announced, and he intends to use his platform to ensure the charity reaches those most in need.

Port Vale Chief Executive Officer, Matt Hancock, praised the partnership, stating: “This partnership means a huge amount to us here at the football club, and we are absolutely delighted to be working alongside Robbie. He is not only a global superstar, but also a genuine supporter of the club with a deep and personal connection to our town. It’s that authenticity which makes this so powerful.”

The new 2026/27 home shirt featuring the ‘RW’ emblem will be available for purchase starting June 13, both at the Club Store and online.

This collaboration follows a historic year for Williams, who recently broke The Beatles’ record for the most UK Number One albums with his latest release, BRITPOP. The album, which arrived in January, marked the 16th chart-topper of his solo career.
