Together For A Better Day, the tribute concert series organised by the Tim Bergling Foundation, returned to the Avicii Arena in Stockholm for its annual show this month. It’s now available to watch back in full on YouTube.

The show was originally live streamed on the platform and broadcast via HBO Max in the Nordics.

As well as paying tribute to the late DJ and producer, the concert series also focuses on shining a light on mental health issues among young people and stripping stigma from the conversation.

Several of Avicii’s collaborators and friends were on stage for the concert, including Nile Rodgers, who featured on ‘Lay Me Down’, and Aloe Blacc, whose sang on ‘Wake Me Up’. Also on the bill were WizTheMc, Tjuvjakt, Sigrid, Seinabo Sey, Sarah Klang, Good Neighbours, Nektar, Nisse Hasselgren and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, among others.

This was the third edition of Together For A Better Day, which takes its name from one of Avicii’s hits, following its debut in 2021. It was hosted by Swedish singer-songwriter Ida-Lova and comedian Christoffer Nyqvist. Alongside the event, a new initiative called Open Stage was launched, which aims to make more accessible performance spaces for young people across Sweden.

Earlier this year, Avicii fans were  invited to contribute to a new children’s mental health book set to be released by the Tim Bergling Foundation.

In October, the 10th anniversary of Avicii’s ‘Stories’ was marked with a pop-up event in Stockholm. Earlier this month, the second episode of Avicii documentary miniseries, Stories on Stories, was released.

This year’s Tomorrowland paid tribute to Avicii, 10 years after his final headline performance at the festival. Alongside a festival memorial, Avicii’s Tomorrowland sets were also uploaded to Apple Music.

In May, a compilation, ‘AVICII FOREVER’, was released, which included a new single, ‘Let’s Ride Away’.
