Wata Igarashi and Polygonia announce collaborative EP, ‘Cross Passage’, share single: Listen
Wata Igarashi and Polygonia have collaborated on a new EP.
The four-track ‘Cross Passage’ lands on 6th October via Reclaim Your City and is the debut link-up between the producers, who are each known for the individual takes on psychedelic techno.
‘Fibre Axis’ promises a “bumpy ride across shape-shifting interfaces and blurred-out digital scapes” while the EP’s title track leans into an “original techno sound”.
Elsewhere, ‘Voltage Blues’ is described as “a mesmeric roller cut from pure eerie synth algebra” while ‘The Tunnel Dreams’ brings the EP to its conclusion on a “fiercely nonconformist note”.

Polygonia’s debut album, ‘Dream Horizons’, was released earlier this year via Dekmantel’s Records. Read our review here.
Last December, Amsterdam-based Japanese producer Wata Igarashi contributed to the relaunch of Dekmantel’s UFO label with the ‘Kaleidoscopic’ EP. Dive into his mix and interview for DJ Mag’s Recognise series here.
