Voices from the Lake release first album in 13 years, ‘II’: Listen

Voices from the Lake’s first album in more than a decade is out now. Listen to ‘II’ below. 

Donato Dozzy and Neel’s long-awaited follow up LP to their 2012 genre-reshaping self-titled album arrives after a one-off immersive live show at ADE this past October. The album features 10 new tracks, plus a continuous mix on streaming platforms, out now on the Italian duo’s Spazio Disponibile label.   

“The project was never meant to become what it did”, Neel and Donato Dozzy said in a press statement. “At one point, we even paused it. Only to later embrace it in all its forms. ‘II’ is both a continuation and a reinvention.”

Between the two LPs, Voices from the Lake released the ‘Between the Lines’ EP and a 10th anniversary edition (and the first-ever vinyl pressing) of the self-titled album in 2023. In 2024, they launched a new Spazio Disponible sub-label called Spazio Nero with the ‘Movimento’ EP by Neel.
