Ultra New Zealand announces first headliners for debut 2026 festival

Ultra Music Festival has announced the first set of headliners for its inaugural Aotearoa (New Zealand) edition in 2026.

Taking place on 10th April, the debut Ultra New Zealand will welcome 20,000 attendees to the harbour venue, Wellington Waterfront. Among the first batch of headliners due to play are The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Zedd, Darren Styles, Nico Moreno, Oliver Heldens, Marlo and Miss Monique.

The festival, which was officially confirmed by Ultra last month, will be a partnership with UltraWorldwide, WellingtonNZ and local promoter Audiology Touring.

The second phase of lineup announcements will be “coming soon”, according to organisers. You can pick up tickets for the festival here.

Meanwhile, Ultra is gearing up for its flagship Miami festival — voted the No. 2 festival in the world in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals poll — taking place in March. Headliners will include Alan Walker, ARTBAT, VOYD and Afrojack.

DJ Mag recently spent 24 hours with Armin van Buuren at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, which celebrated its 25th birthday in March. You can watch the video here.
