Tomorrowland’s DreamVille Campsite to Host FIFA World Cup Final Screening
Tomorrowland attendees will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup final on a big screen at the DreamVille campsite tonight, Sunday, 19th July. Festival organisers have confirmed that DreamVille is the only location on-site where football fans can follow the hotly-contested final between Spain and Argentina. A large screen has been installed at the campsite, allowing festival-goers to watch the match together starting at 21:00 CET.
Spanish fans are expected to form the larger crowd at the screening, with Spain listed as the second most represented nationality at Tomorrowland, according to figures from the organisers. Weekend one continues today in Boom, Belgium, with sets from Calvin Harris, Alesso, Chase & Status, B Jones, Avalon Emerson b2b Ben UFO, John Summit, Amelie Lens, and many more. Meanwhile, Swedish House Mafia will livestream the FIFA World Cup final during their Ushuaïa Ibiza residency show tonight.
France also brought electronic music into its World Cup campaign, with Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’ chosen as the team’s official goal song for the tournament. England defeated Les Blues 6–4 in the third-place play-off match, which took place in Miami last night.
