Together For Palestine live stream announced for Wembley Arena benefit event
The sold-out Together For Palestine benefit event this week will be available to live stream.
Taking place on Wednesday (17th September) at London’s OVO Wembley Arena, the Gaza benefit is being executive produced by Brian Eno, along with Khaled Ziada, Khalid Abdalla and Tracey Seaward.
100% of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Palestinian-led humanitarian organisations through Choose Love, a UK charity supporting local humanitarians in conflict zones.
“For anyone who missed out on tickets or can’t be there on the day, this one is for you!”, Choose Love wrote in a collaborative Instagram post shared on Saturday (13th September).
Eno, Portishead — who recorded a rare live performance of their track ‘Roads’ to be shown at the event — Jamie xx, Hot Chip, PinkPanthereess, Rina Sawayama, James Blake, Greentea Peng, Damon Albarn, King Krule, Rachel Chinouriri, Sampha and Obongjayar are among the many performers booked to take part in the gig.
Also on the bill are Palestinian artists Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman, Nai Barghouti, Elyanna, Saint Levant and El Far3i.
They will be joined by actors Amer Hlehel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Charithra Chandran, Guy Pearce, Jameela Jamil, Motaz Malhees and Ramy Youssef. Louis Theroux, Amelia Dimoldenberg and Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos will also make an appearance.

“Together we can raise millions in urgently needed aid for families in Gaza. Every penny donated will go to Palestinian partners through Choose Love, a UK charity supporting local humanitarians in conflict zones.
Later this month, 10 independent Dutch radio stations will come together for a 15-hour fundraising broadcast in support of Palestine on 28th September.
