The Chemical Brothers rumoured for Glastonbury 2022 secret set

There are rumours of a Chemical Brothers secret set at Glastonbury 2022 this weekend.

With slots on the likes of the Park Stage and John Peel Stage yet to be confirmed, the festival’s return at Worthy Form is set to see performances from a few surprise names.

Among those could be the legendary Manchester duo, comprising Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. Three years on from headlining the Other Stage at the annual Somerset festival, rumours are circulating that the pair will perform a set – most likely a DJ set – as part of the TBA slot at Arcadia at 11pm on Friday night (June 24th).

It comes almost a week after the duo shared an Instagram post that read: “Intense rehearsals completed. Brand new intense show. We’re ready for the summer, see you in a field soon.”

The duo also retweeted a post about their rumoured set at Glasto, which you can see below.

Off the back of performing at Spanish festivals, O Son do Camiño on Thursday, June 16th and Sónar on Saturday, June 18th, Rowlands and Simons are scheduled to play Cork, Ireland on June 23th and Castle Howard in North Yorkshire on Sunday, June 26th Their schedule is free on Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th.

Back in February, the Chemical Brothers were among the names announced to play new Bristol festival, Forwards, this September.
