SUCHI launches label, Ikke Sant, with ‘Sub Cut’ EP

SUCHI has launched her own label, Ikke Sant. Its first release is an EP by the DJ and producer herself.

Set for release on 17th October, the three-track ‘Sub Cut’ is aimed squarely at the club, settling the tone for a label that will explore both dancefloor-friendly music and more experimental climes.

The label takes its name from a Norwegian phrase that roughly translates to English as “isn’t it?, not true?” It’s a phrase that informs SUCHI’s approach to dance music, according to a press release, and is also the name of her ongoing Rinse FM residency.

Early support for the three tracks on ‘Sub Cut’ has come from the likes of Pearson Sound, Midland, Pariah, Or:la, Ciel, Florentino, HAAi, Amaliah and NIKS, among others.
