Stylophone announces $50 portable sampler, VOICE

Stylophone has added to its Pocket Range series with a new portable sampler called VOICE.

Priced at just $50, the unit is an easy-to-use pocket-sized sampler fitted with three sample slots. Samples are recorded using the built-in microphone or the aux input for external audio sources.

The VOICE lets you play around with your samples using 12 built-in effects, including reverse, relay, reverb, spin and wobble. These can then be played back on the keyboard or sequenced using the machine’s four-track sequencer, with the fourth track dedicated to drum sounds (it comes with onboard rhythms).

As with other Stylophone products, the two-octave keyboard is operated using a stylus. The Stylophone VOICE is powered by 3x AA batteries.
