SPFDJ announces debut EP, shares ‘The Hot in Psychotic’: Listen

SPFDJ is releasing her debut EP.

‘Heel Thyself’ arrives on 7th November via her own Intrepid Skin imprint. You can hear first single ‘The Hot in Psychotic’ below.

The five-track EP expands on the Berlin-based Swedish-born DJ and producer’s signature palette for a maelstrom of hard-edged techno, ear-splitting breaks, gabber and more.

The title track is described in a press release as “a nod to internal healing processes, and a play on words to motivate queers and women to ‘boot up for battle’ against increasingly oppressive structures”.

‘Heel Thyself’ is the first record from the co-founder of the Universe of Tang party and Herrensauna resident. In 2018, she launched the Intrepid Skin label, and has since put out releases by the likes of VTSS, Nene H, Valerie Ace, and others.
