Sparkly Pony and Posture release collaborative EP, ‘Sweat Repetition’: Listen

Sparkly Pony and Posture have released a new split EP, ‘Sweat Repetition’. Listen below.

The project dropped last week via Berlin-based queer and FLINTA-focused label, SEVEN, and features five house and techno heaters, including remixes from eoin dj and 131bpm.

Speaking on the inception of the project, Posture shared: “Sparkly and I became friends last year and instantly found a shared love for music. Both of us usually work by ourselves but knew that it would be a great fit working together. The writing process was organic, fluid and came together quickly using both of our studio setups. I definitely brought the moody, emotional energy, whilst Emil [Sparkly Pony] brought the club punchiness, which turned into a very cute combination.”

“We are both inspired by artists like Roza Terenzi, eoin dj and 131bpm – it was a dream to have eoin dj and 131bpm on the remixes,” she continued. “We love connecting such incredible queer artists together and this project was a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful talent of the Berlin scene.”

This is the fifth release on SEVEN, following CRYME’s ‘HOLD ON’ and ‘Reality Rush’ EPs, Andre Zimme’s ‘Wait a Minute’, and the label’s debut V/A compilation, released in February. Founded in 2024, the imprint practices an artist-first, community-driven approach in its championing of queer, FLINTA* and underrepresented electronic artists.

‘Sweat Repetition’ is out now on digital download, 12” black vinyl and a limited edition 12” purple marbled vinyl from SEVEN’s Bandcamp store. You can also listen to the EP below.
