Shygirl and Angelita’s Club Shy joins DJ Mag Best of British awards party line-up 2024
Shygirl and Angelita’s Club Shy has been added to the line-up for DJ Mag’s Best of British awards party 2024.
The duo will bring a DJ set of club-pop bangers to London’s The Steel Yard on Thursday 12th December, as part of our annual celebration of UK electronic talent. They will join previously announced performers Joy Orbison, Arthi, Mia Koden and Or:la, who have also been nominated for Best of British awards.
Shygirl’s various artists release ‘Fabric presents Shygirl’ has been nominated for Best Compilation, alongside projects from Phonica Records, Wisdom Teeth, Obligated Records and Optimo (via Above Board Projects).
Voting for the 2024 awards closed on 28th November, but you can check out the full list of nominees here. This year’s awards party will once again be hosted by DJ, broadcaster and Rinse FM regular, Emerald.

Last month, Shygirl shared a new single, ‘Immaculate’, featuring Saweetie. The pair performed the track live recently while touring in support of Charli XCX, whose track ‘365’ also features a guest appearance from Shygirl.
