Saoirse Shares New Single, ‘Body Movement’
Irish producer and DJ Saoirse has officially dropped her latest single, marking a significant milestone in her career. Titled ‘Body Movement’, the track serves as her debut release for the CHAOS/Polydor Records imprint.
The single draws its inspiration from the queer-led festival and cultural platform of the same name, which Saoirse co-founded in London five years ago. The production effectively channels the core values of the platform into a high-energy, club-ready anthem designed to celebrate the transformative power of physical movement.
Reflecting on the creative process, Saoirse shared in a press release: “For ‘Body Movement’, the message is simple: move your body. I think movement is one of the most underrated forms of self-care we have. So many of the DJs and dancers who have been part of this culture for decades seem to age incredibly well, and I don’t think that’s a coincidence.”
The artist, who also heads the trUst label and recently headlined South London’s GALA festival, has indicated that she is shifting her focus toward more production work, with additional releases expected in the near future.
