Sammy Virji shares ‘Next Day Cleaning’ remix EP featuring Bakey, Malugi, Douvelle19

Sammy Virji has released a remix EP for his album, ‘Same Day Cleaning’.

The EP, titled ‘Next Day Cleaning’, features three reworks of songs from Virji’s debut record, released in September. Leeds-based artist Bakey takes on ‘Dis Badman’, while Berlin favourite Malugi remixes ‘925′. Douvelle19 has also been enlisted to remix ‘Cops & Robbers (featuring Skepta)’ for the release.

The EP comes at the start of a busy 2026 for Virji, which will see him play two sold-out shows at London’s Alexandra Palace in April, as well as gigs in Mumbai and a large outdoor event at London’s Finsbury Park.

He was also recently nominated for Best Dance Act at this year’s BRIT Awards, with the ceremony set to take place next month. Other contenders in the category are Calvin Harris & Clementine Douglas, FKA Twigs, Fred again… with Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax, and PinkPantheress.
