Sammy Virji and Femi Koleoso Soundtrack Arsenal’s Victory Parade

In a vibrant celebration of football and music, Sammy Virji and Ezra Collective bandleader Femi Koleoso were enlisted to provide the soundtrack for Arsenal’s Premier League trophy parade this past Sunday, 31st May.

Both artists, known for their deep-rooted support of the club, were positioned on the lead bus as it navigated the five-mile route through North London. The parade, which drew massive crowds, saw the duo soundtracking the historic moment for the club’s men’s and women’s teams, staff, and thousands of jubilant supporters.

The route wound through key areas surrounding the Emirates Stadium, including Finsbury Park, Highbury & Islington, and Seven Sisters. Following the parade, Koleoso transitioned to the London venue Scala to host his ‘Situation’ party, featuring appearances from Benji B and other special guests.

Reflecting on the experience, Sammy Virji shared his enthusiasm on social media, noting, “We played the Arsenal parade! 1.5 million people gathered together for a part of history. What an honour to be asked to do this.” Femi Koleoso, who had teased the event the day prior, simply stated his intent was to “dance hard” at the celebration.

The parade marked a triumphant end to a 22-year wait for the Premier League title for Arsenal, following a series of near-misses in recent seasons. The celebration provided a welcome lift for the club, coming just one day after their narrow defeat in the Champions League final in Budapest.
