Premiere: Doubt ‘C Error’

Premiere: Doubt ‘C Error’

Ar Ais Arís will release a new EP from Doubt next week. Listen to ‘C Error’ below.

The Cork-born, Glasgow-based DJ and producer behind the Dose party and Flood label returns to the Galway imprint with three cuts of percussive club fuel. Building on the hard drum style that carried his early releases, Doubt drapes these tracks in whipcrack synthesis and pace-quickening bass.

‘Troops’ marches on thundering beat, propelling its siren and looping vocal snippet like a call to the dancefloor. ‘Lurkling’ picks up the pace, its syncopated drums duelling with strobing trance synths.

‘C Power’ lunges forward with a techno pulse, its amapiano-esque logdrums and featherlight melodies buoyed by driving drums.

This EP follows Doubt’s previous appearance on Ar Ais Arís’ debut compilation last April. It’s the label’s second release of the year following an EP of remixes for Plus One’s summer 2024 hit, ‘Bonk’, which DJ Mag named one of its tracks of the year.

‘Ar Air Arís Vol 4’ will be released on 19th September. Buy it on Bandcamp.
