Point Blank Music School launches first fully accredited degree programs
Point Blank Music School has unveiled its first fully accredited degree courses.
Applicants can choose between two programs at the Los Angeles campus: a two-year associate degree and a four-year bachelor’s degree in music production and audio engineering.
In a press release, Point Blank CEO Rob Cowan described the new courses as “a landmark moment” for Point Blank. “For the first time, aspiring producers and engineers can earn accredited degrees with us that are entirely focused on the craft of music production”.
Students will have access to state-of-the-art studio facilities, cross-genre collaboration, and a curriculum aimed at blending “technical mastery with creative exploration”.
The curriculum spans advanced production techniques, mixing, sound design, creative writing, music publishing, audio engineering, mastering, and broader general education.
The courses will begin in October 2026. Find out more information via the Point Blank Music School site here.
Former Point Blank students include Aluna Francis Klingande and Patrick Topping, voted Best DJ at DJ Mag’s Best of British awards 2022. Revisit our 2023 interview with Topping here.
