Nondi_ returns to Planet Mu with new album, shares ‘Tree Festival’: Listen

Nondi_ has a new album on the way via Planet Mu. ‘Nondi…’ will be released on 27th February and you can listen to the first single, ‘Tree Festival’, below.

It marks a return to the label for the producer, who released ‘Flood City Trax’ on the imprint in 2023. Described as a departure in sound from that record, a leftfield take on footwork that paid tribute to her hometown of Johnstown, the new self-titled LP is a more melodic effort that intends to capture the heady excitement of formative music discoveries.

Announcing the album, Nondi_ wrote: “I made this album to capture the sense of freedom I used to get from music when I was first discovering it all. It’s meant to be cute, fun, kinda weird and emotional — but most of all, it’s a presentation of some of the prettiest tracks I’ve made.”

Last year, Planet Mu celebrated its 30th anniversary with a compilation, ‘Planet Mu 30’, and a special party at London’s Corsica Studios.
