nextdimensional shares new EP, ‘free your mind’: Listen

Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and label boss nextdimensional has released a new EP, ‘free your mind’, via her own STARRY Records.

The five-track EP pays tribute to the New Yorker’s lifelong appreciation for house and garage, mixing those elements with slick, dreamy melodies and touches of deep house funk. 

It features three original tracks, ‘free your mind’, ‘why are u here?’ and ‘goodnight’ along with a remix of ‘why are u here?’ from Oakland-based DJ/producer RITCHRD. An extended mix of the title track is included as a Bandcamp exclusive.

Commenting on the new release, the producer wrote: “House and garage were my gateway genres into DJing almost 10 years ago. It only felt right to put my spin on a house-inspired sound as an homage to early inspirations.”
