New Brooklyn club Refuge announces opening season line-up with Floorplan, DJ Holographic, DJ Seinfeld, more

New Brooklyn club Refuge has revealed its opening season line-ups.

DJ Seinfeld is set to open the venue on 21st September, after a daytime preview party featuring Analog Soul. A full opening marathon party will follow from 27th September into 28th September, in collaboration with Golden Record NYC. There will be sets at that from Floorplan, DJ Holographic and Mike Servito, among others.

Danilo Plessow is listed to play on 4th October, and The Bunker New York will host its No Way Back party at the venue on 18th October, with sets from Carlos Souffront, Erika, BMG and others.

Refuge bills itself as an audiophile club and is based in East Williamsburg. Run by NYC dance music event veterans, the 500-capacity venue takes over a 19th-century industrial complex with 35-foot-high ceilings.

“Every sound system has a ‘voice’,” club co-founder Craig Bernabeu previously said about the venue’s sound set-up. “And ours is full, relaxed and easy on the ears, with a tremendous amount of impact. Refuge fills a gap in NYC nightlife. The sound doesn’t just play music – it lifts people up, even if they walk in not feeling great. That’s the power of high-fidelity sound done right.”
