New Avicii documentary, I’m Tim, trailer released: Watch
A trailer for the upcoming Avicii documentary on Netflix has been released.
Directed by Henrik Burman and partly narrated by Avicii himself, Avicii – I’m Tim debuted at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and chronicles the late artist’s success up until his tragic death by suicide in 2018.
The film, which will land on the streaming platform on 31st December, features interviews with David Guetta, Nile Rodgers and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, among others.
“Before there was Avicii, there was just Tim,” the film’s synopsis reads. “For the first time through his own words, witness the journey of a shy but prodigious musical talent who would soon become one of the defining artists of his generation.”

Danish artist MØ recently dropped a cover of Avicii’s iconic track, ‘Wake Me Up’, with the pair having struck up a friendship after working together on the late star’s 2013 track ‘Dear Boy’.
In October, a collection of Avicii’s personal items were sold at a charity auction in aid of The Tim Bergling Foundation, raising over $750,000. The foundation was established by Klas Bergling, Anki Lidén and their family following Avicii’s death to support the mental health and well-being of young people.
Back in April, Avicii’s final concert in his native Sweden was screened in Stockholm.
