Native Instruments Unveils Komplete 26: The Definitive Production Suite

Native Instruments (NI) has officially released the latest iteration of its flagship music production software, Komplete 26. Positioned as the company’s most “definitive” collection to date, the suite offers a comprehensive toolkit for producers, sound designers, and engineers.

The new package is expansive, bundling over 190 instruments and effects alongside a library of more than 180,000 sounds. Users will find industry-standard staples such as Reaktor 6 and Massive X, complemented by high-end mixing and mastering utilities from iZotope and Brainworx. A notable highlight of this release is the inclusion of the classic semi-modular soft synth update, Absynth 6, which Native Instruments successfully reintroduced to the market in 2025. Additionally, the suite features the highly anticipated grand piano sample library, Claire.

Pricing for the collection is tiered to accommodate various production needs, starting at $99 for the Select edition and scaling up to $549 for Standard, $1249 for Ultimate, and $1949 for the comprehensive Collector’s Edition.

This launch arrives during a transformative period for the company. Following a formal insolvency filing in March, the brand was recently acquired by inMusic, a prominent US-based conglomerate that oversees a portfolio of audio gear brands including Akai Professional, Moog Music, Denon DJ, and Numark. Addressing the transition, NI CEO Nick Williams described the acquisition as “a new chapter with a strong partner who has spent just as long dedicated to this industry.”
