Movement Detroit has announce the first names to play the festival in 2026. The weekender will run from 23rd to 25th May at Hart Plaza.

One of the most important dates in the global techno calendar, 18 artists have been confirmed so far. These include Detroit techno legends Kevin Saunderson and Carl Craig, and Motor City electro wizard DJ Stingray 313, who will play b2b with Berlin’s Ellen Allien.

Also on the bill are 999999999, Voices From the Lake (Donato Dozzy & Neel), Richie Hawtin, DJ Harvey, ANNA, and Dax J. Among those making their debut at the festival are Nia Archives, Barry Can’t Swim, Mochakk, and KI/KI

2025’s edition of Movement featured 115 DJs and live acts across six stages and three days. The city, the birthplace of techno, also hosts a number of satellite and ‘off’ parties during the weekend, culminating on Memorial Day, a US public holiday coinciding with the end of the festival.
