Mochakk celebrates first anniversary of his OBLIQO club with one-day festival
Mochakk will host a single day festival to mark the first anniversary of his OBLIQO club. The event will take place this Saturday, 20th September 2025.
Opening in September 2024 in the Brazilian DJ and producer’s hometown of Sorocaba, the one-off birthday event will be held outside the club in Usina Cultural. The large, historic riverside mansion will host talent including Bassan, Akila, Carlos do Complexo, Leall, and Cesar Nardini.
Running with a 3,000 capacity across two areas, the smaller Rádio Galeria Stage will be dedicated to local artists who have stood out during the first year of OBLIQO. Meanwhile, a pop-up SORO Lab will act as a chill out zone and showcase the clothing brand of the same name, launched earlier this year by Mochakk.
The music policy will focus primarily on house and techno, while a cultural exchange, NAPONTA, will emphasise the significance Brazilian funk, drum & bass, dubstep and breakbeat. A separate Compacto programme celebrates vinyl culture, 7″ records, and styles such as hip hop, boogie, R&B and samba.
Last month, Mochakk announced an open-air takeover of Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, USA — his biggest show in the city to date.
