Man pleads guilty to Fat Tony assault at Margate club
A man has pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm after assaulting DJ Fat Tony at a gig.
Zack Bradley admitted to attacking the legendary DJ inside the booth at the Lido leisure centre in Margate on 14th December 2024. Fat Tony was taken to hospital after the assault, where he was treated for a fractured eye socket and broken cheekbone.
Speaking to The Standard in the aftermath of the incident, the DJ said that he had been subjected to homophobic abuse from Bradley and his friend, who reportedly called him “all the names under the sun” including “a queer c**t.”
Bradley was arrested by Kent Police several days after the assault and was later charged with GBH.
A little over a year later, on 5th January 2026, Bradley appeared Canterbury Crown Court, where he is reported to have only spoken to confirm his name and enter a guilty plea. He was released on bail and will be sentenced at a later date.
Last year, Fat Tony enlisted a roster of producers to remix his ‘90s queer house anthem, ‘Men Adore’. Listen to Cinthie’s remix here.
