Madonna Returns with ‘CONFESSIONS II’, Featuring Martin Garrix Collaboration
Madonna has released her first album in seven years, ‘CONFESSIONS II’. Featuring 16 tracks, the new record is a sequel to the US artist’s seminal 2005 album, ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’, which featured hits such as ‘Hung Up’ and ‘Sorry’. As with the original release, the new project was produced in collaboration with Stuart Price.
‘CONFESSIONS II’ features collaborations with Martin Garrix, Sabrina Carpenter and Stromae, and was launched with a special event at London club Magazine last night (Thursday, 2nd July). Madonna performed at the party, alongside DJ sets from Horse Meat Disco and Jodie Harsh.
Madonna first announced ‘CONFESSIONS II’ in April having been teasing a sequel to ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’ since 2024. Last month, she released a short film to accompany the new record, which starred Arca, Honey Dijon, footballer Cole Palmer and more.
In April, Madonna debuted several tracks from the new album during a surprise DJ set at LA nightclub, The Abbey. Meanwhile, Martin Garrix played out the duo’s collaborative single, ‘Bizarre’, for the first time during the final night of his three-show run at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last month.

In a recent radio interview, Garrix confirmed that his own new album will be released later in 2026.
