Loraine James shares new EP featuring KMRU, KAVARI, Coby Sey and ML Buch: Listen

Loraine James has released a new EP titled ‘New Year’s Substitution 3’. Listen to the new tracks featuring KMRU, KAVARI, Coby Sey and ML Buch below.

It’s the third entry in the London artist’s collaboration series, with the first two ‘New Year’s Substitution’ EPs shared in 2015 and 2020. The Hyperdub affiliate made the EP with featured artists KMRU, KAVARI, Coby Sey and ML Buch between 26th and 30th December.

“ah i guess you expected another ep innit”, James wrote in the Bandcamp description. “thank you to Coby, KMRU, ML Buch & KAVARI for doing this in such a short space of time”. 

Loraine James’ most recent LP is ‘Gentle Confrontation‘, released in September 2023 on Hyperdub. Last year, she remixed Kelela’s track ‘Divorce’ as part of her ‘RAVE:N’ remix album.
