Like Mike Withdraws from Tomorrowland Set, Announces Touring Break
Like Mike is taking a temporary break from touring due to ongoing health issues. The Belgian DJ and producer, who regularly performs alongside Dimitri Vegas, announced the news on Instagram today (17th July), sharing that he has been dealing with “health challenges” for several months. Following advice from medical professionals, he has decided to pause all upcoming live dates to focus on his recovery.
In his statement, he wrote: “Cancelling these shows, including Tomorrowland, is a decision I have not made lightly. I would never do this unless I truly felt it was necessary.”
The announcement came just hours before the duo’s scheduled headline performance on the main stage at Tomorrowland, which kicked off today in Boom, Belgium. In the statement, Like Mike confirmed that the duo’s booked tour dates and festival performances will proceed, with Dimitri Vegas performing solo.
“I’m incredibly grateful that my brother Dimitri will continue doing what he does best and will keep bringing the energy to every stage,” he shared. “I know he’ll make every show unforgettable, and I couldn’t be happier knowing you’re in the best hands like always.”
While live touring is on pause, Like Mike assured fans that he is not walking away from music entirely. He will continue his creative work in the studio during his recovery, with plans to share new material with fans “when the time is right”. The artist concluded by thanking fans for their understanding, support, and for respecting his privacy during this recovery period.
Former Top 100 DJs winners, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been touring extensively together for nearly two decades, headlining major international festivals and hosting their celebrated residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza. The pair were voted No.4 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll in 2025.
Tomorrowland 2026 kicks off today with sets from David Guetta, FISHER, Boris Brejcha, Maddix, Jazzy, Lost Frequencies, and Illenium, among many others.
