Legendary Sheffield club Niche 30th anniversary party announced

Legendary Sheffield Club Niche will mark its 30th anniversary with a party on 1st November 2025.

The event was announced via the iconic club’s resident Jamie Duggan on Instagram. No line-up or venue have been confirmed at the time of writing but capacity is expected to be 5,000 people. 

The original Niche venue, located on Sidney Street in the heart of Sheffield, began life as an after hours club and was formative in establishing bassline house and garage in the region, often known colloquially as ‘niche music’. 

“A club that defined generations of people. A club that gave birth to bassline,” Duggan wrote in the post. “Expect to see all of the original names you associate with Niche! All of the DJs & Producers that made you fall in love with the sound!! Expect to hear all the Old Skool Speed Garage records and all the biggest Bassline anthems… This is not a drill.”
