KRK Announces New V Series Five Studio Monitors

KRK has officially announced a new collection of its flagship V Series studio monitors. This fifth-generation release introduces significant technological upgrades, most notably the integration of KRK Mesh technology. This feature allows users to control their monitors remotely via the dedicated KRK Control App, offering a modern workflow solution for professional producers and engineers.

The company states that these new units are designed to set a new benchmark for performance, innovation, and the sonic accuracy that has long defined the KRK brand. The lineup consists of three distinct models: the V4, featuring a four-inch woofer; the V6, which incorporates a 6.5-inch woofer; and the V8, equipped with an eight-inch woofer. Each model is constructed with custom Kevlar woofers and housed in low-distortion cast aluminium frames to ensure structural integrity and audio clarity.

The Nashville-based manufacturer, which operates under the Gibson umbrella, had previously teased the V Series Five collection earlier this year. The V Series legacy dates back to its original launch in 1997, and this latest iteration continues the brand’s commitment to evolving its Audio Tech offerings.

In addition to the V Series, KRK has been active in expanding its product ecosystem throughout 2024. This includes the release of the fifth generation of its popular ROKIT range of monitor speakers, which are available in five-inch, seven-inch, and eight-inch configurations. The ROKIT series has even garnered cultural attention, notably being recreated as a LEGO model by Hungarian designer Tamás Borján earlier this year.
