KRK announces new V Series Five monitors

KRK has announced a new collection of monitors called V Series Five.

Described as the Californian company’s “all-new” flagship monitor speakers, they will be available in the summer.

The “next-generation” V Series Five range builds on KRK’s 40-year reputation as a go-to professional audio resource, known particularly for its iconic yellow-coned, black-cased ROKIT line. The new speakers will once again be geared towards musicians, producers and engineers and offer “refined clarity, control, and reliability”.

“As our new flagship, the V Series Five represents a defining moment for KRK,” Sterling Doak, VP of marketing for Gibson, told DJ Mag. “We’ve taken nearly four decades of precision monitoring expertise and pushed it into a new era — one built for professionals who demand absolute accuracy and emotional impact in every mix.”

According to Doak, the new monitors will come with “full wireless control using KRK Mesh® and the Control App”, which will allow users to make “single or group adjustments quickly and easily from the palm of their hands”.

KRK launched in 1986 and was acquired by Gibson in 2011.

In 2024, KRK released the fifth generation of its popular ROKIT range of monitor speakers, available again in three sizes: five-inch, seven-inch and eight-inch cones.
