Kormac shares new single, ‘Hazy’: Listen

Kormac has shared a new track. Listen to ‘Hazy’ below.

The latest in the Irish DJ and producer’s run of singles on his own Always The Sound label follows July’s ‘Down Below’ featuring Katie Kim. Like that track, ‘Hazy’ mixes crunchy analogue drums with vocal glitches and lush melodic textures, lending it a sense of drama and scale that he’s honed via orchestral and screen composition work. The track will feature as part of his new A/V live show, which will see him play in front of immersive 3D visuals

The track is inspired by Kormac’s early years of going out in Dublin. “I started DJing very shortly after I started going to clubs,” he said. “At the time Dublin was small and blaggable, full of weekly nights with residents who really knew their craft. We’d move between venues – my first real exposure to proper house music – and the best parts were often the moments on the street in between.”
