Korg Announces Build-It-Yourself Analogue Mixer, NTS-4
Korg has officially announced the latest addition to its innovative Nu:Tekt series: the NTS-4, a build-it-yourself analogue mixer. This new unit continues the brand’s commitment to accessible, hands-on audio tech, offering users a high-quality mixing solution that can be assembled in minutes without the need for soldering.
The NTS-4 features a robust aluminium chassis, housing a versatile six-channel architecture. The configuration includes four stereo channels and two mono channels, which can be conveniently switched to accommodate Eurorack-level signals, supporting up to 10 audio signals in total. Beyond its core mixing capabilities, the unit is equipped with built-in effects, per-channel SEND FX, and a comprehensive master TOTAL FX section. Connectivity is modernized with USB-C audio and MIDI integration, ensuring it fits seamlessly into contemporary studio workflows.
Priced at $249 USD, €219 EUR, and £189 GBP, the NTS-4 is positioned as an accessible entry point for producers looking to expand their hardware setup. This release follows a busy period for Korg, which has already introduced several notable units in 2026, including the Arca-inspired phase8 acoustic synthesizer and the updated Kaoss Pad V, which features a new dual-touch operation for simultaneous parameter control.
